$150 per user, per month
One figure per person covers the help desk, Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace, security, backup and monitoring. Hardware and licences are passed through at the price we pay, and nothing else is added to the invoice.
1. What the fee covers
- The help desk, with no per-ticket charges and no after-hours loading
- Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace implementation and management, including device management with Intune
- Security, including Defender for Endpoint and the 24/7 cybersecurity remediation SOC
- Microsoft 365 backup with scheduled restore tests
- Monitoring, a monthly report, and projects scoped in a quarterly roadmap
- Vendor liaison and the documentation register
2. What costs extra
Hardware and Microsoft licences, at our cost. Jinba IT is a Microsoft CSP partner and passes licences through at its CSP price. Laptops and other hardware are supplied at the price we pay, with no markup.
3. Terms
Month to month, with a month’s notice and no exit fee. The agreement is six pages of plain English. If you leave, every credential, document and configuration record is handed over.
4. How it compares
Fully managed IT in Melbourne generally runs between $110 and $220 per person, per month, depending on what is bundled. The common differences are below.
| Law MSP | Common elsewhere | |
|---|---|---|
| Billing | $150 per user, per month | Tiers, block hours or per-ticket |
| Licences and hardware | At cost | Often resold with a margin |
| Contract | Month to month, no exit fee | Often fixed terms |
| 24/7 security monitoring | Included for every user | Often an add-on |
| Documentation | Yours, exported on request | Not always shared |
5. Is it right for your firm?
We work best with firms of about 10 to 150 people. If you have fewer than about five, break-fix support will usually cost you less, and we will say so.
